Yes, I’ve searched but for the live of me can’t find which are the fee free ones for UK cards (which includes Curve)

When I was in Barcelona in February and Madrid in March I couldn’t find a single ATM that didn’t charge €3, €5 or €6 per transaction.

Yes, I don’t think there are any these days, perhaps some bank ones? Most ATMs charge a fee now in Spain in my experience, especially anywhere touristy

I have a Santander account so I can use Santander ATMs if I find one for free. Otherwise better to take any cash with you that you may need from post office or similar.

TBH though COVID really accelerated Spain’s card acceptance, I had €100 on my last trip and I paid the restaurant bill on the last night with nearly all of it as I hadn’t needed it beyond the odd purchase at the local market

There certainly are some fee free ATMs, but they’re few and far between. For example, a few months ago I withdrew cash fee-free from Pichincha Bank near Retiro Park in Madrid (using my Virgin Money MasterCard Debit).

Deutsche Bank? They were mentioned as being fee free a couple of years ago, but things might have changed…

Kutxa Bank worked fee free every time for me
