Am I the only one who’s having problems using curve with Barclays cards? My avios Barclaycard and my premier debit card keep getting declined. Barclays says they don’t see any problem at their end, Curve says it’s barclays blocking the transactions. Help!

Works fine here (Avios Barclaycard). Have you definitely used the underlying card at least once with chip and pin?

Maybe try deleting from Curve profile and re-add?

Yes. Not the first time that I use either card. It’s been a week now, whenever I try I get a message “insufficient funds” (not the case) and curve says they get a “do not honour” message.
    I’m utterly puzzled.

Not had a problem myself. But how big is your credit limit, my wife was given a lousy £200 limit which meant paying the card off every 24 hours. But if are attracting a curve fronted free you might be going over the underlying limit?

I’ve had curve forever, I was one of the early adopters. My limit is £1,600,000 annually (hilarious!) – the transactions I’ve been trying to put through were cash withdrawals. Always worked fine on both debit and avios Barclaycard. Not sure why it’s started to play up. I’ve recovered and added them again – will try tomorrow.

I trust you are putting a bit of normal day to day spend through Curve too? If you are only using it to withdraw cash, then that could be your issue.

The £200 limit is a default limit given until you can provide proof of incomings and outgoings etc. then a more suitable limit is assigned.

    It worked! Thank you
