Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Daytime eastbound transaltantic flights – current list?

  • 101 posts

I’ve found a few posts from pre-covid listing all the BA (and AA + Virgin) daytime flights from the USA back to the UK. Can’t seem to find anything current though…

Anyone know what cities are currently served by an eastbound transatlantic daytime flight?

(I gather they tend to be quieter, and down the back you’re not having to worry about trying to sleep so the seat doesn’t matter so much compared to overnight!)

Would be easier to answer if you posted the existing flight list as that would make it easier to confirm the current situation.

Depends on how you define “Daytime”!

From the 8th May, the 13:35 departure from Seattle resumes, it arrives into London at 22:50 Seattle time (or 06:50 London time).

But looking at more traditional interpretations.

New York. 07:55 BA, 08:15 Virgin, 08:30 United, 10:30 American.
    Chicago. 08:45 American.
    Boston. 06:55 BA Depature
    Washington. 08:15 United
    Halifax. 11:00 Canadian

All the times may vary slightly by day of the week, and may not operate every day. The Halifax route commences at the end of April. Not forgetting that there are connecting opportunities. Eg I’ve flown DCA to LHR via EWR daytime.

There was a HfP item recently saying that there are to be BA daytime departures from both EWR and JFK from June.
