For the last 2 months I have received emails from barclays and barclaycard saying there was an error crediting my avios and it will be given next month
Given that this has happened twice in a row I have no faith that it will happen in October and as it stands its over 13000 avios I am due.
I have called barclays for 2 hours with zero help, no one seems to know what’s going on or how to help or who to contact inhouse, the email has no contact info and they have the audacity to tell me that I have received the avios I’m just an idiot and can’t see it even though someone at barclays has sent me and email telling me its delayed and its not in my avios account.
I am concerned that there is no one in barclays that can help, there is no one at avios that seems to be able to help and all the while barclays are still taking fees from me for their “services” whilst telling me that I have had the avios and I’ll just keep receiving emails every month telling me their delayed.
My husband has had his credited both months so I know its not a system wide issue.
Has anyone had this issue and been able to recieve help? I’m very close to cancelling all my accounts with them as I’m paying for a service I’m not receiving and I’ll go back to amex.
Yep I had similar issue in May, Email sent to MH at Barclays , issue sorted in a week by there exec office
There were lots of issues when the card was introduced and not much help from Barclays CS! I eventually wrote to their head office (the address in on the website) and things started moving within a week! Expect a bit of compo or refund of monthly fees if it’s the paid card, as well.
