    I hadn’t heard of this before…

    …which would have been of interest seeing as I’m dropping to Gold for the first time in 10 years on March 31st. It says promo expired for me which seems crazy given that the offer should still be open based on its terms. Has anyone else had any success?

    It worked for me last year but I just requested it when I got the email. It may become active if you wait a bit and may be giving you an “expired” message because it is still set to last year. Where did you get the link?

    It was on a FlyerTalk thread. After enquiring with Hilton, e-mails are being sent out to qualifying members for 2025 starting from yesterday.

    This is permanent offer.

    Importantly you must have had 3 years of Diamond and 250 nights in Hilton Hotels.

    The nights qualification is often missed by people.

    @Ian, OP obviously has not done 1000 or they would now be Lifetime but I’d imagine that after 10 years as Diamond @Berneslai must have done at least 250 nights.

    @Berneslai
    , it is also a ine-time offer so if you do qualify for it you should only trigger it now if it will be of real value in coming year. There is no need to do it now as the 10 years do not nerd to be consecutive.

    I got the invite for this last week and have used it as I would otherwise drop to Gold. One thing I did wonder though – it’s billed as a Diamond *extension* (as opposed to ‘regain Diamond’) offer, so even though it’s a once-in-a-lifetime deal, presumably once you drop down, it’s too late and you’ve lost the opportunity forever – or at least until such time as you re-earn Diamond and then fail to re-qualify in a subsequent year. So for anyone like me whose travel pattern has changed and probably won’t do enough stays to earn Diamond again in future (Gold perhaps, if I’m lucky), it struck me as something of a “use it or lose it” situation. Not sure how much value I’ll actually get out of it, but we’ll see. I’ve reached that point in life where I’m thinking I might give up on chasing status and just pay the extra for executive rooms or breakfast included rates etc.

    Apologies, I didn’t realise this thread had been bumped. I don’t know my lifetime count but I should be well over 250 (but nowhere near 1000) nights.

    I haven’t received the offer and have 14 nights booked with Hilton in 2025 post- my drop to Gold. I’ll probably just do a status match before my 1st stay.

    It’s not an offer you need to receive. If you want it just contact Hilton on X.
