Yesterday upon landing in Glasgow, I was expecting to be one of the first out of the door and at the taxi rank as I was in seat 1F.
Unfortunately the jetty was not working, and when they bought the steps to the aircraft, they decided to place them at the rear of the aircraft instead of the front.
As such I was one of the last off the plane, rather than one of the first.
I took some satisfaction though, that I got of before Mr Row10, who had decided to put his cabin bag above row 2 for an easy exit…
Row 10? Amateur.
Earlier this year we had to do this at AMS due to a broken jet way. I was in row 1 so supposedly the last to deboard (nice chat with the inflight lead and pilots about my doing a back to back and the intricies about whetehr I had to reclear security etc)
There were some bags in the overheards right at the front but one lone passenger almost right at the back forced to wait until everyone else had gotten off before he could retrieve his bags.
