Do amex rewards transfers still count in 2022 as activity that prevent Hilton Honors points expiring? The AwardWallet site says that amex transfers don’t count any more after the T&C change in Jan 2022?:

“Activities That Will Not Stop Your Hilton Honors Points from Expiring
The following activities will not count towards extending the validity of your Hilton Honors points.
    Pooling points with family members.
Transferring American Express Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors.”

Bit concerned by this as many people’s points will expire on 31/12/22 if no activity – and don’t want to waste an amex points transfer if they aren’t going to count and will lose them plus the points!

Is AwardWallet giving false info or is this an actual change?

    The expiry terms are:

To keep accumulated Hilton Honors Points, the Member must take one of the following actions within a 24 consecutive month period: (a) stay at a hotel within the Hilton Portfolio pursuant to the terms herein; (b) earn Hilton Honors Points through any third party source of Hilton Honors Point accumulation, including a Hilton co-branded credit card, pursuant to its terms; (c) purchase Hilton Honors Points; or, (d) donate Points through The Hilton Honors Giving Back Program. (my emphasis)

Amex transfers would appear to fall under (b) to me.
