Do Companion Voucher and Avios get returned if you cancel?

Apologies if this is a daft question, but if you cancel and Avios booking which used a companion voucher, and apply for a voucher. Does the companion voucher and Avios used for the original booking get reinstated into your Executive Club Account? And if so – does anyone know what would be the expiry date on the returned companion voucher?

If you take a future travel voucher then your cash, Avios and companion voucher are all wrapped into the FTV with a validity til 30 Sept 2023 (travel completed by date). You can request a FTV online.

If you pay £35 pp you get the remainder cash, all Avios and your companion voucher returned to you, with the expiry date originally on that voucher. If that expiry date has passed then you lose the voucher. You’ll need to call up for this option anyway as you can’t do this online.
