Just wondering if anyone has any experience of cancelling a USA domestic redemption booking. I have a booking from LAX to DTW on Delta booked with Virgin. The taxes were only $12. The T’s and C’s say there is a $50 cancellation charge to do so, but does anyone know if they actually charge you extra money to cancel, or just not refund the $12?
Many Thanks
They won’t charge the difference, you will only lose the $12.
OT: Did you book this offline? I’ve had no joy in booking anything delta via Virgin Atlantic.
Thanks – I know that’s what BA do, and was hoping Virgin would be the same.
Yes I booked it online… Although it’s quite unusual for me to find availability…

Count yourself lucky there. I can rarely find DL availability, and then coming to book it is a different story.
