Last year I got two Barclays upgrade vouchers, one at the end of March and then another in early April.
I can’t find any old articles but think one was for hitting 10k spend and the other for turning on Avios rewards.
This year so far I’ve only been given one and all the Barclays adverts for the new card state you receive one voucher for 10k spend and have no mention of two vouchers.

Is the second one the annual voucher you get from having a Premier account with Avios Rewards switched on? Some have reported getting a second voucher by spending £10k on the Avios Plus, downgrading to the free card and then getting another voucher with a further £20k spend.

I think it is, so does that mean I also get another one for spending 10k?
I definitely got two vouchers last year and I only held the Avios Plus card and didn’t downgrade to the free card.

Yes, you get one from Barclaycard for spending £10k and another from Barclays Premier (with Avios Rewards switched one) every 12 full months of holding the account.
I opened free BC and hit the £20k then upgraded to BC+ and spent £10k, this got me the 2 vouchers
So it must mean I’ve not received my spend voucher for this year even though I hit it the 10k target a few weeks back.
The anniversary one has posted but the 10k spend one has not arrived.Thank you

When checking the BC app I could see when viewing my avios there were two sections with one for my Bc Avios rewards “yearly spend” and the other for BC Avios rewards “anniversary reward”
Whilst “anniversary reward” voucher had posted automatically for the “yearly spend” voucher I needed to elect / select in the app to generate the voucher. After doing that part it posted into my BA Avios account on the same day. I think this is linked to the change they recently made where you have to choose if you want the voucher or if you want the 7,000 avois that Rob recently did an article on

Does anyone know the process on the Barclays app to choose the reward? I’ve looked everywhere and either can’t find it or my app isn’t offering me the choice yet.

In the Barclays app click on the BC line which brings up your list of transactions.
Click on “view your avios” just under the spend bar.
Scroll down. Just under the circular spend tracker is a button saying “explore reward choice” or similar. Click there to make your choice.
