Do you lose x4 DragonPasses or unspent upgrade vouchers if you downgrade?

Hi all,

I have had the Barclaycard Premier + Avios Plus combo continuously for about 18 months now. But I’m not sure that having the Avios Plus Barclaycard is worth it for me now anymore.

I have already triggered this year’s spend target to get the upgrade voucher from the Barclaycard but haven’t yet clicked the magic button to issue it. My Dragonpass membership year just refreshed last week meaning I’ve got four credits in my account.

If the eVoucher is shown in my BAEC account will it remain there even if I downgrade, and does the same apply for the x4 Dragonpass vouchers?

If voucher it’s in BAEC, it’s not going anywhere. Dragon passes will be deleted the moment you downgrade/close account.

I got an email from Barclays saying I don’ qualfy for Premier account anymore and they offered downgrading to current account with Avios rewards still going ahead for £12/month. I am happy to keep Avios Plus Barclaycard. Will I still be elugible for 4 free DragonPass entries a year? Thank you

The DragonPass goes with the Avios Plus card, not Premier, so as long as you keep that card, you will keep the passes. If you cancel or downgrade to the free Avios Barclaycard your DragonPass Premier+ account is automatically cancelled and any lounge passes are cancelled and refunded.
