Applied a few nights ago (to be greeted the following morning by a message on HfP to hold off for a better bonus, but hey ho!)
Was approved for a £200 credit limit.
Uploaded my statement etc online to increase limit, at the time of application.
However I am getting numerous emails from Barclaycard asking me to upload my documents – counting down the days to when my account will close!
Does this suggest the upload didn’t work? That is very concening if my financial details can disappear into the ether.
This is also strange as they have already sent me a statement – which I can’t access as I don’t have the card yet?
Feels such a shambles that I am beginning to think I am dealing with Lloyds!
Now I have an email saying they can’t use the uploaded docs – even though they were exactly what was asked for!
Another email received – they can’t use my documents as they are unable to see my name on them – which is somewaht strange as my name is plastered all over the payslips and bank statements!
Hi, did you ever resolve this? I am getting the same problem.

+1. I upload the docs, a day or 2 later I get an email asking me to upload the docs, I upload the docs, a day or 2 later I get an email asking me to upload the docs……
Same problem here. They have been absolute rubbish compared to Amex. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Exactly the same as above. Over 45 mins waiting on the phone, useless. Directed by E mail to take docs to local branch. After a long wait, the first lady had no idea. Second more IT lady was very helpful. She couldn’t upload via my (new) phone, so scanned and sent the docs. Not happy my bank details are floating around the ‘cloud?’.

Never did resolve this, sent uploads several times including one via the local branch which they seem to have lost – coupled with them trying to charge me £20 for a card I never received and then saying they couldn’t see my name and address despite it being plastered all over the bank statements…..
Spoke to a CS person – raised a Formal Complaint
Now decided to dump this cancel the whole thing and put the sorry experience behind me.
Absolute shambles

So one of the uploads must have worked as I now have a 12k limit. And a PIN turned up.
Now all I need is an actual card ….
After the ‘Bank’ sent the requested statements for me , I received yet another Email requesting ‘upload for higher credit’. Of course it referred to a different last four card numbers. Is there anybody there?

When I queried the repeated requests from them, they said the requests are automatically generated until the uploaded documents are actually reviewed.
