We have a return domestic ticket from LHR booked for Monday to Thursday next week, but due to a family emergency may need to travel outbound this weekend.
No BA flights suitable, so looking at EZY.
If we no-show, will we lose the return sector, which we probably will want to fly?
Thanks
Call BA.
They can be helpful in situations like this even if it means just protecting the return but no refund for the outbound.
No harm in trying and if they can’t do that you can still get a refund of APD and airport fees.
Thanks, if I call I’ll report back on the outcome
I did call, and after some considerable time with the agent trying different things and escalating it to a manager, we are very satisfied with the outcome. I don’t want to say too much, as the nature of our problem probably made a difference (and maybe wife being a gold card holder), but well done BA for a change and thanks here for advice.
