Double avios with US Flights

I’m looking to book a US return flight to Honolulu soon. The fastest outbound has a BA flight number but operated by American Airlines. Does it not qualify for the recent double avios offer?

Unfortunately for this promo, Ts and Cs say only BA operated flights qualify, no codeshares or partner flights.
