Hi all, I know what the T&C’s say about UK departures but I just wondered with all the problems BA IT…
Has anyone flown a European departure BA Holiday and received double TP’s?
I doubt you could draw any reliable inferences from it, even if someone has and they’re willing to admit to it.
Do BA holidays even price up from Europe? I usually find the system throws a wobbler if you ask it to search for anything but the most straightforward itinerary!
Yes they do. I price up my ex EUs as holidays with just one nights hotel. I get better flight options that flight only as well.
There are some starting points that don’t seem to allow it though – SOF and/or BUD come to mind but it’s worth testing those out just in case it just didn’t like my itinerary.
Not sure if it helps @Cdog but JER counts as UK for this offer.
I doubt you could draw any reliable inferences from it, even if someone has and they’re willing to admit to it.
yeah I get that but it would certainly shape my thinking into taking the chance if anyone had received it, whether by accident or design
Jersey is a nice example of the uncertainty
and yeah despite Holidays regularly crapping out, you can build quite complicated European departure holidays. As stated above very few airports that won’t work, rather inconveniently that Budapest is one of them
Tried it from Malaga, no joy – YMMV
Thank you Roberto, very helpful 👏
