Looking at doing a points redemption later in the year and this one has a 1-bed suite for the 70,000 points/night (as opposed to standard room)
Stayed at a few Hilton properties within Dubai previously but not on JBR.
Any one have experiences of staying here – usual Diamond perks offered (aware there’s no exec lounge)? Is this a relatively new property?
It’s not new, been there years. It’s rather overshadowed in the literal sense by the skyscraper Address hotel next door now. I haven’t stayed but walked around the lobby and pool area for a look. The pool area is tightly placed sun loungers like you find in the Med. You can get better personal space in the UAE for sure.
Whilst I can see why you’d favour a suite over a room, bear in mind who suites attract. Families with kids with sticky paws and who might use the suite to prep meals in. Personally I’d prefer a room for the reason that it’s less likely food prep and consumption took place in it.
