As I said before, they requested payment by card.

The bank transfer thing was someone else’s, with a different city and a different chain.

As I said before :), they said I don’t have to make early payment. It is an option. And I didn’t pay.

My booking is still cancellable up to a week before the booking.

I’m in the middle of a dispute with a hilton hotel..
They advance charge based on current euro to tlr..
Then on checkout they bill you on current fx rate, if it’s in your favour you receive nothing,
If its in theirs they’ll try to bill you..

We’ve just come back after Easter and been billed 3400 tlr.
I booked a prepaid rate and had no extras.
It was charges due to currency fluctuations..

Of course I’m arguing.
It isn’t my fault

So did you pay at the time of booking and they are now trying to charge you more? If so I would be disputing it as well!
