Sorry if it’s been covered.
How do you join Dragon Pass once you open an Avios Plus card. Should there be an email with a membership number?
Nearly two weeks since opening the account. I’ve had emails about Apple Free trials but nothing about DragonPass.
Thanks
I got an email with my membership number when I first got the card. Ask Barclaycard in the live chat in the app and they should be able to find your number.
It’s not very worthwhile though IMO – still costs £18.50 so I’ve never used mine

You get 4 free entry per year, so still some value there.

Isn’t this only the case if you have Avios Rewards and the Avios Plus card together?

That’s my understanding!
You guys may be right, I have ever only had the Avios Plus as an existing Barclays Premier Avios Customer and only briefly for the 100,000 Avios offer.
Never actually used the Dragon Pass benefit as I had already BA Lounge access, Amex Platinum and still had HSBC WE Premier LoungeKey access at the time.
However, £18.50 is still a good deal, probably the cheapest fee out there and could make sense for the occasional traveller without the right airline status/or other free entry Lounge Membership scheme .

It’s alright for some yes, but I’ve never personally got what I’d consider £18.50 “worth” from a lounge unless I’ve had a really long wait at the airport. The food and drink is usually pretty poor, particularly if you don’t eat meat!
I also feel like paying directly to access a lounge would take all the fun away (but somehow paying for Platinum is fine). Funny how our brains work (or don’t)!
I have the Plat. The only lounge I would look to pay for with dragon pass, is the DXB first class lounge.
I think in the context of Priority Pass increasing to £24 per entry for extra chargeable entry (on top of the two per card) and assuming that those DragonPass Entry Vouchers can be bought for a guest, £18.50 is as cheap as it can get for a single Chargeable entry.
We often travel as a family of 5, with two Amex Platinum / PP membership, and aside of the Centurion Lounges, we have to often negotiate that one extra entry. Some time I get “gesture of goodwill and they let my 7yo daughter in for free, pre Covid I could use my LoungeKey membership for her (now getting 1 boarding pass/1 membership name match pushback) and other times I simply charged the extra entry on the PP account
Does anyone know if I downgrade my Barclaycard or premier bank account will I lose the outstanding dragon pass vouchers, or does it follow the Amex BA 2-4-1 voucher and they will warn they will be removed but in reality they remain?
Thanks!

Been receiving some positive irregularities when I had to bring in guests. I go with my normal 4 with the plat. Have extra guests wait 5 mins then tell lounge I’m bringing guests. End up bringing in a few for free.
