Forums Payment cards Barclaycard Avios DragonPass booking no-show

    Hey,

Does anybody know what happens if you don’t show up for a DragonPass lounge booking?

I am assuming you lose the booking fee but can keep the pass for another time. I can’t find anything on the website to confirm though.

    Thanks

To answer my own question, having just done it, you lose the entire dragonpass and not just the booking fee.

Long story short, I booked plaza premium lhr t5 on dragonpass and then got amex platinum priority pass which gives free access. You can’t book, on priority pass, so I kept the dragonpass booking on the assumption the lounge would probably be full. As the lounge had walk-in space, I didn’t need it so it was a bit of a waste of money in the end.

Could you Email them and see if they would refund you the £18.50 for the voucher?

I accidentally ended up buying two vouchers back in Sept and asked them if they’d refund one and they did it no questions asked.

This is what’s mentioned when you buy the 24 quid dragonpasses via myregus. “No quibble refund on unused passes”.

Worth a try. I will email them

They told me they can’t refund unused passes for bookings. Bit crap really – they charge a booking fee which would make sense to cover the cost of no-shows but since you actually lose the full cost of pass and booking it’s just profiteering based on the fact that UK lounges are so over-subscribed these days you have to book if you want to get in
