A load of upper class reward flights (probably 100+) were released to Dubai on Monday for flights in Jan and Feb 2024.
Now this morning when I went to book they have all been pulled. I’ve checked the seat planner on a few of the flights and there’s only a couple of seats taken in upper class. There were 9 seats available on each flight on Monday. So it’s highly unlikely they have been booked. It looks like all of the reward seats have been pulled 2 days after releasing them.
Is that normal? And what are the chances of them becoming a available again?
The seat map is useless at trying to assess if a flight is busy or not as many people don’t select a seat the minute they book.
There is no guarentee any more seats will be made available.
This could have been an error or just a limited time secret sale.
When it comes to reward seats (on any airline) is of you see one then book it and not wait.
They’ve probably sold out or just reduced the stock back to the bare minimum (can’t remember if virgin guarantee a minimum number of seats)
can’t remember if virgin guarantee a minimum number of seats
They do. Twelve – eight in A (Economy), two in P (Premium) and two in G (Upper).
Quite often, the minimums don’t disappear IME, then again I don’t travel in peak too often.
