Dear all,
Hope I can get some advises there. I am flying from Dublin to Los Angus early July this year. Due to the early flight and late arrival from UK to Ireland (11pm arrival), I am not bother to going to a nearby hotel just for a couple of hours and thinking stay in the airport overnight.
I would really appreicate if someone can share some tips. Is there any lounge still open and I can stay?
Many thanks,
I think the paid for lounges close about 9.30pm so that wouldn’t be an option. The hotels on site at Radisson Blu and the Maldron.
Both the Radisson and Maldron are pretty rubbish but coast along on the basis of being walkable by pedestrian footpaths to each terminal. Interestingly DUB does not close at night. Due to some very late departures after midnight to eastern Europe (Moldovan flights leave around 01.00) and then some very early departures to Lisbon amongst others (04.50 I think), Terminal 1 security operates 24hrs. T1 is then connected post-security by walkways to T2. So you could hang around in the check in area all night if you wished and no one will kick you out. And if you’re travelling HBO (I dread to think who would when flying long haul but to each his own…) you could enter T1 security as early as you like and be at the door of whichever lounge opens first.
