Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Earn 3 Avios per $ on Booking.com via Qatar Privilege Club

Not sure I’ve seen this elsewhere on the Forum, but apologies if it’s already been mentioned.

I got an email from Qatar Airways today offering 3 Avios per $ spent on hotel reservations and stays made with Booking.com (via the Qatar link).

Unfortunately the offer appears to be very short term and covers the period 15 June to 15 July – a bit starnge to email midway through the eligibility term – hey ho!

You do need to be a memebr of Qatar Privilege Club to take up the offer – but that is free to join and Avios are then interchangeable with BAEC.

Here’s the link for anyone interested – could be a good way to earn extra Avios if you’re planning a hotel stay in the next 2 weeks.

I saw this, but you can typically get 8 per £ via the BA e-dtore with no time restrictions, though the rate does fluctuate.
I’ve had no issues with points crediting within 90 days of the stay as promised. Probably had about 10k avios this year out if it.

Yes, can do this on the BA shopping portal currently for 6 avios per £ with no restrictions on time.

Had 60,000 avios credited just last week from this deal and another 15,000 or so pending. Is incredibly reliable. Had 100% success from probably 15 transaction in the last 2 years.

You must stay in very fancy hotels 😳

Similarly I am waiting for a good few thousand Avios to be awarded from an Agoda booking through BA shopping. How soon after the stay are they generally credited? I notice that any claims for missing avios must be made within 90 days of the “initial purchase date” rather than the stay…

@jamiek do you not find that Agoda prices are cheapest when using their app, without any promo codes and without trying to go through a cashback site?
I know I see different prices.

Different prices between app and web/mobile browser and time of day… I booked through whichever was cheapest (with free cancellation) and then paid with my BAPP through the BA shopping link shortly before the stay. It tracked but I’m dubious as to whether the avios will be awarded!
