Earning points through BA Holidays staying at Marriott hotel?

We have booked to stay at the W bcn through BA holidays. The hotel have added our Marriott gold membership number , what’s the chances of actually getting points for the stay and the stay crediting for elite status. Do you also get the 500 welcome points and also the offer of 1000 bonus points each stay (the current Marriott promo which you need to register for)

I think the chances are close to zero and you’re not entitled any of the promotional points.

For odd reasons, you hear more cases of BA Holidays guests getting hotel points than I do from any other agent. That said, it’s a nice bonus if you do and you should expect nothing.
