Economy Delight Seats on Points Redemption

Is there any way to access Economy Delight seats on a points redemption? I know it’s not possible to book them directly as a redemption, but wondering if there’s any way to snag them after booking, either with points, cash, or status – VS Gold in case that helps at all.

I asked VS support and was told it wasnt possible to get them on a points booking.
