Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Accor Live Limitless ‘Enhanced’ Flying Blue miles to Accor points Spring transfer offer

  • 740 posts

Received an Accor promo email today saying:
    ‘Usually 4,000 Miles = 1,000 Reward points. Until 23 April, 4,000 Miles = 1,300 Reward points.’*
Still not a great rate (Accor points are worth a fixed 2 cents so this is receiving points worth just 26 Euros for the Miles) but if you have orphan Flying Blue Miles and a use for Accor points then a 30% increased conversion rate is better than nothing!

*NB conversion can only be done in multiples of 4,000 Miles

Indeed …. not great but I’d got 11k FB purely from linking it to my Accor account, so transferred those over.

(I will swap to earning Avios via Qatar but was waiting to get my FB account to 12k for a transfer.)

The base points hit instantly, but the bonus won’t appear for a few weeks it seems.

Glad someone got use from this notification @Rob ! I know not everyone opts in to marketing emails so would otherwise miss these offers.

The point about switching to earning Avios from Accor stays is a good one! Now that Qatar has this tie up I will likely do the same as I stay reasonably frequently in Accor properties but rarely have need of Flying Blue points… Just a shame that I don’t quite have 4,000 FB points yet and have no way topping up efficiently before April 23rd.

On a related note, it seems that Flying Blue are concurrently running a ‘Limited time offer – receive up to 100% bonus Miles until 30 April’. The 100 % bonus kicks in at purchases of 24,000 miles or over. At that level, these miles cost 1.115p each. I don’t know enough about the program to see if this represents good value but may be useful for someone – I’ll post a new thread in the ‘Other frequent flyer schemes’ section.
