Hi
Just back from a a week away and Hertz have just emailed me to charge 1500CHF for a very small chip in the windscreen, which they have subsequently noticed after drop off and signed if off as being all ok!!
Couple of question, assuming they dont backdown.
I didn’t book the car using my supplementary car and the card has now been closed (the day after the car was dropped off).
Thoughts, on if I will still be covered ?

In order to make any insurance claim, your card account would normally need to be open at the time of the claim rather than the date of the incident.
