Need advise
me and wife have own ba amex card, we would get 2 campanion voucher, do we create 2 seperate Executive Club account or can we merge it into one account, if merge to one is that a good idea or bad.
Thanks in advance
You need an account each but can make a Household account to pool your avios. Have a look at the articles on this site for everything to do with BAEC & avios.
If you already have the cards, but did not previously have BA Executive Club accounts, then BAEC accounts should have been set up in your names as part of the Amex application process. So you don’t want to create new accounts as you might end up with multiple BA accounts – this is not permitted, and supposedly not possible, although it can happen. You need to know the details of the accounts created by your amex application.
You will earn avios, and any amex welcome bonus, in to your individual Amex accounts. They will be transferred from there into your own individual BA accounts. You can, but don’t have to, link your BA accounts into a Household Account.
