I have a companion voucher that is due to expire in May, but I’m not going to be in a position to use it by then. I seem to recall some time ago that an article said if a booking was made using the voucher, then cancelled, it would be refunded in the form of a FTV which could then be used on a future flight until end of 2023. Can anyone confirm if this process still works and that the FTV would include the 241 element?
This was probably the article: https://www.headforpoints.com/2021/08/06/how-to-extend-british-airways-amex-2-4-1-companion-voucher/
There are very many posts in this very area of the forum covering all of the procedures, many with almost identical titles, which are worth a read.
