Planning a trip to Marrakech in December. Would like to find a riad or hotel that’ll work well for a trip with a toddler – ideally somewhere within walking distance of the Medina and also quieter spaces. We’d like somewhere we can get something like a suite or family room – so the toddler can be put to bed in one room while we stay up in another. Mid-range rather than luxury – the toddler won’t care! A pool would be nice but not essential (I know most riads don’t have them).
Any recommendations?
We stayed at the Sol Oasis Marrakech back in February. It’s not near the Medina (but they have a shuttle bus that will take you there), has nice size rooms with lounge area to put child in (decent size sofabed) which gives you privacy.
There is a toddler pool, kids club during the day and a Mini-Disco if they are able to stay up after 8pm.
There’s also plenty of static bikes for a good workout, yoga classes etc too.
It’s big enough to have secluded spots you can relax in whilst the toddler is asleep in pushchair too.
If you have amex platinum, you can use one of the 20% off vouchers too.
