Fast Track with kids and Gold status?

Hi,

Flying via Heathrow this week with family for first time on Gold status.

I have BA gold but wife and 3 kids have no status.

Are there any benefits that extend to the family? Assuming lounge us out for more than one guest but can you use fast track etc?

You can all use whatever acts as the gold check in (with the first wing check in area closed). Then you will need to take favourite child or wife, (depending on age of children) into the lounge and leave the others roam free.

Fast track usually applies to only ONE person (some airports don’t allow that so it depends).

The only thing you all get for being on the same booking is free seat selection, Group 1 for boarding and an extra luggage each.

If you are in separate bookings and link them (you need to call) you will all be put on Group 1, will be able to select seats for free, but won’t benefit from additional luggage.

Heathrow T5 definitely allows fast track guesting for golds, it needs to match guesting rights for the Flounge as you would go straight through the First Wing into the lounge. Never been denied one guest through fast track anywhere with a gold.
