How does the $100 credit work when you book through Fine Hotels & Resorts? Do you charge food and beverage to the room and that’s taken off the final bill when you pay by Amex Plat?
Pretty much. Some hotels are more restrictive, e.g. Gran Melia Fenix in Madrid you just get a lunch or dinner for 2 people once during your stay and if you spend under $100 equivalent, tough luck
Also some hotels offer the $100 against spa services. I wouldn’t bother with them personally
You also don’t have to pay with the Plat card, you need to be Plat holder to book but can pay with any Amex in your name – ie your BAPP if you want to.
