Sorry to start a new thread about this but for the first time since CMA left the old Avios site, I’ve finally managed to get it to work.
It appears the trick is to turn off Settings > safari > disable cross site tracking for Apple users.
Perhaps it would have worked anyway and they’ve finally fixed it but I’ve just managed to transfer 100k Avios to Aer Lingus at long last, without having to ring AerClub, on foot of disabling that setting.
In actual fact it didn’t work on my first go and I got the usual ‘your session has expired’ message but I persevered and it worked.
