I hope there is a simple answer for this query. I wanted to get the fare rules for my flight which was booked a while back. I checked the e-ticket email I received and it doesn’t mention if it is non-refundable or flexible (unless I am missing some airline codes that give this information).
How do I find out? The booking isn’t available to view via manage booking.
Or is there information on the e-ticket that can be linked to BA fare rules?Try popping the eticket number into finnair’s manage my booking, along with surname. Shows the fare class for my last booking under “more details”
Thank you. But unfortunately Finnair can’t find the booking. As mentioned it doesn’t even show up on my BA booking form. I spoke to BA who couldn’t initially find it, but then managed to get it.
They have an option to get information from BA.com/receipt
However that can take around 20 days (I think)Does anyone know what this line means on my e-ticket? I need this information to prove that this flight was non-refundable.

Pax nonref/basic-z0Again, looking at a recent bookings I see “nonref” endorsement in the non refundable ones. Not a guarantee but highly likely.
If it’s not locatable in BA or Finnair it may not be ticketed properly. Unless fixed this may cause issues when (if?) you try and check in and fly.
No, it’s an old flight which was cancelled by me last year. However I didn’t receive any email following my request to cancel.
Yes it does seem to point that way.The ‘Pax nonref’ endorsement can also be found on fully refundable tickets issued by agents as it is non refundable to the passenger.
