Looking to Book a trip to Japan next May (granted Peak-season so maybe not a shock) but can not find any First/Business Class availability at all in 2024 flying JAL from Japan to UK. There is some decent availability flying BUS from TYO-FRA-LHR but zero direct to UK. Do we think this is a consequence of lack of supply with BA/CX still a shadow of their former selves compared to pre/post covid??? I saw the article on HFP suggesting BA will be re-introducing First from LHR-HND in the future but any idea how i can find First availability on JAL – always been a bucket list ive been keen to try. Failing then, on reward availability, assuming QR is the only real alternative?
At the moment JAL is not releasing much F reward tickets that far in advance. You’ll need to set up alerts, usually plenty of availability from a month to two weeks in advance.
You have ANA with Virgin Points and Star Alliance. They’ve improved availability.
Alerts on seat spy you mean? Does that show JAL availability then?
My bad. Expertflyer used to have access to JAL award space, but no longer. You’ll need to check manually.
