Not a question, more of a comment in case others look in the future… I was really, really confused about how to find out how much I’d spent on the Avios Plus card and when I’d be triggering my ‘reward’. Nothing on the website, nothing in the Barclays app.
Having searched at length through the forums here and ending up engaging in a (quite helpful) online chat, it turns out that the generic comment ‘there’s no difference between the Barclays app and the Barclaycard app’ is wrong! Avios account management can only be done on the Barclaycard app, despite the main Barclays app linking to some parts of account management. Very frustrating.
Hope that helps those who search in the future. And – voucher claimed (five months late), card downgrade coming.
I don’t use the Barclaycard App, only the main Barclays App (for both CC and CA)… Click on your CC card, then click “View my Avios” – all the information you need is there.

I wasnt aware there was two. The one I use always has great info on Avios received etc.

I don’t have the Barclaycard app, I do it all through the main Barclays one and can see cumulative spend, Avios earned, and months to go until Avios Rewards anniversary voucher.

Same for me. I only use the regular Barclays app and the information about spend to trigger both the welcome bonus and the yearly rewards were always there. Not sure if this is because I also have the Barclays Avios Rewards enabled?
The one annoying thing about Barclays is that they don’t send any notifications about spend on the credit card, and from what I researched even the barclaycard App doesn’t solve that. I end up logging in much more often to confirm that there aren’t any unauthorised transactions etc. 😩
