Hi All
My wife and I are taking our first buisness class flight on BA next week to Mumbai.
On that note I have a couple of questions.
Is there a separate security lane for business class?
Which lounge will we be able to use at Heathrow?
We have a 5hour stopover in Mumbai before flying down to Goa with an internal flight so are we allowed to use a lounge in Mumbai airport.
On the return journey which lounge can we use in Mumbai?
Many thanks
Andyc
1) You should have Fast Track Security included with your Business Class ticket
2) If BA still fly out of Terminal 5 for Mumbai, then you can use either the North or South Club Lounges
3) Are you flying BA from Mumbai to Goa?
4) The lounge you can use in Mumbai airport should be the MALS Premium Lounge at Mumbai Airport Terminal 2
Hope that helps
If your flight goes from B or C gates (you can check previous departures by googling the flight number), you can use the BA business lounge in B concourse which is much quieter and nicer.

hi northern lass, I still use the lounge at B concourse regardless. I quite enjoy the walk back underneath.
Enjoy your first J flight, hopefully the first of many.

Ditto. The tunnel is the only quiet part of T5
Got nearly 4 hours to kill there next Monday… well that’ll be down to 2 hours after being delayed out of MAN, delayed waiting for a gate and then having to be at the departure A gate 45 mins before departure.

I am the same on Tuesday. I will do a couple of walks under the tunnel. We could have had a good old hfp get together.
Mumbai actually has 2 OW lounges. But on BA you can only use MALS Premium Lounge
Goa has one but it’s closed.
Always worth bookmarking this: https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges
Tip for the Mumbai lounge – make sure as soon as you get there you book a massage, they are free and are a nice treat before a flight
Thanks everyone for your advice will make our journey even better.

Sorry guys forgot to ask is there a way to book your seats early without having to pay the £100 each both ways?
Andyc
No – only BA Silver and Gold can pick seats for free prior to online check-in opening (or 7 days before for Bronze).

Not worth paying to reserve seats with the new Club Suites cabin. All seats are good. BA will allocate you seats together where possible, when you check in on line at T-24 you will see your allocated seats, and may be able to change them if your flight is not full.
New Club Suites are so private you can’t easily talk to your wife anyway. If you have the middle pair, you can see each other if you leave the privacy screen open, but the distance between you is like being in two aisle seats in a middle block of 4. If you want to talk to each other easily during the flight, it might be easier to get a window and adjacent middle aisle if they are available. Or two window seats. You won’t be able to see each other but you will be able to move easily to each others seats should the need arise.
