I’m travelling to Barbados tomorrow from Heathrow. I’ve got 2 business class seats and there is currently 1 first class seat available on Avios which was released just after midnight last night.
There are still 7 cash seats showing as available if I try to book them. In people’s experience, is there much chance of them releasing further Avios availability between now and departure?
Not impossible but BA are pretty stingy with F availablilty these days. Keep a very close eye on it . Good luck!
If no Avios availability I’ve had some cracking deals (as low as £250) on upgrading at the airport for cash. If there is still plenty of availability then you might bag a bargain for a long flight in First. Always worth asking. Of course there are plenty of times when it is not a good deal and they’re asking way to much. Good luck.
