Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club First not showing for redemption online when adding Man-Lhr leg

  • 12 posts

Just playing around with some dates for booking something. 13-18 May 26 MAN-DOH in First on BA (241). The first availability is there from LHR to DOH and back but once I add in the MAN-LHR leg it won’t show first availability, only giving business as an option. Another BA IT bug perhaps, assume I’d have to call to book?

It’s because MAN-LHR only has Club Europe, not First.

Book the LHR-DOH sector online and then call to add MAN-LHR which should be free.

Search for business class on that date and then select the stopover option. Continue on the same day and you should be able to select business for MAN-DOH and First for LHR-DOH without calling.

Worked fine for me. Prices up on the 13th as:

    68000 Avios + £ 490.91

    61200 Avios + £ 615.91

    51000 Avios + £ 745.91

    40800 Avios + £ 880.91

    37400 Avios + £ 920.91

    34000 Avios + £ 965.91

It always used to show when I’ve done first bookings, just used to show the man-lhr leg as club europe as you say. The stop over workaround is fine though, shows that way to save calling
