I’m getting ready to book HK/Tokyo flights for early Jan 2025. Does anyone know for sure when the first off-peak day will be? Off-peak is 55,000 Avios cheaper to Tokyo one-way (planning to return from HK for bargain taxes and a night flight). The HfP calendar has blanks (neither peak nor off-peak) for 8,9 and 10 January this year. I guess the first off-peak day will be around 10-11 January but no calendars seem to be available yet for 2025 and I don’t want to stay up late every night next week on the off chance..
If you do a dummy booking for the latest available date, the next few days show as peak or off-peak, even though they are greyed out due to not having been released yet. So Dec 31st to Jan 6th is showing as peak, even though flights have only been released up to the 3rd.
Failing that, someone posted last week that they called BA and the agent told them the off-peak dates for April, so you could try that!

It won’t necessarily be, it’s just that the 6th is as far as you can see on BA’s booking page. Tomorrow you’ll be able to see the 7th, and so on.
