If I book on the Qantas site and the flight has a QF code but they tell me the flight is operated by an Alliance Aircraft, will I still qualify for my baggage allowance as I’m a silver BA member? We will be flying to Australia in Business with quite a bit of baggage so I was trying to stick to Qantas flights.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge or personal experience will comment, but in the meantime a search on Executive Traveller brought up this review which would imply yes. Hope it is OK to post this link.
@Lyn – thank you, it’s a really interesting article and although I don’t like smaller planes, I guess I am going to have to just get on one of these. My silver status seems to get me the 2 x 32kg luggage.
