Looking on Delta website to book flights using Virgin points – are the points that are stated exactly the same amount of points you would have to use if paying with Virgin Points? – They are so much more than similar flights using virgin airlines??
Since you want to use VS points you need to use VS to book and that’s the amount that matters.
No, apples and bananas. Two completely seperate currencies. Availability, prices and taxes dont match.
There is a chart on VA site which shows the amount of points you need its worked out on your mileage
And yes – you have to wait for Virgins booking window to open (331 days I think) before you can book on any partner airline using virgin points.
Hope thats correct – but that is how I am understanding it
