Not had any email or refund from BA for my FTV. I know Rob advised sometime ago that BA had a lot to work through. That was some time ago, should I be concerned?
Was it a flight only FTV or a BA Holidays one? If it was a BAH one then it’s not guaranteed they will just refund it.
I think you don’t need to worry. If you need to use it then just phone BA and book

Was a flight, not BAH. Not sure when original flight booking for as cancelled several times. Wasn’t planning on using this year, but with the extension next year. Given BA’s recent performance concerned that it have been overlooked especially as not had the email.
Only Avios bookings are being refunded, as well as cash ones issued before November 2020.
The rest are staying as they are.
I cancelled an avios 241 booking last week. The page explicitly states if it’s an avios or companion booking it will be refunded.
The email from BA made no mention of refund and proceeded to tell me I was not eligible for a voucher…. which I don’t want anyway!
Still waiting for 75k avios and £420 ( yes… I do have to pay the cancellation fee) Plus my 241 voucher. Am I a bit impatient ?
What’s the travel date? You only get a refund for journeys completed by the end of August (or September?). Anything beyond that and you have to phone, currently
Date is March 2023. Booked outbound. then heard that cruise line has cancelled all Far East sailings until April 2023. We’re not going now!
At the moment it’s not possible to get an online refund for an avios booking beyond the BWC date. I have a booking for December I need to cancel but as it’s still a while off I’m going to wait to see if things change, or BA phonelines calm down a bit. If you want your avios/cash/241 back you may have to bite the bullet and call, though you could always try Twitter as they can do a lot of this stuff if you don’t mind waiting a few days between replies.
Anyone else with a FTV voucher for a self cancelled Avios 241 flight who have not yet heard from BA re the refund and voucher extension that was mentioned here some weeks ago?
As I said in my original post and know Rob said that BA have a lot of vouchers to work through but its been a while.
