How long does BA take to issue a Future Travel Voucher / eVoucher?

Hi, does anyone have any insight on how long it takes for BA to issue an eVoucher/FTV.

Made an application a week ago now but no email confirmation or sign of the voucher. Flights are no longer showing online/in the app though.

e voucher or FTV?

They aren’t the same even though they get conflated and used interchangeably

e-vouchers are generated for flight only cash bookings are usually immediate

FTVs which cover anything more complicated including avios and 2-4-1 and BA Holiday bookings can take longer.

The email in response to my requesting an FTV for a Holiday booking an hour ago for says it should appear ‘in the next seven days’

Thanks Chris. On the form on BA it effectively seems to cover both from what I saw. It’s been 8 days Now since I made the request.

I wonder whether it’s taking longer as this booking was in itself part funded by a previous FTV and who knows how they work out the voucher value!
