Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Gatwick lounge fully booked

  • 12 posts

    Hi all,
I’m a new member so first time trying to book a lounge at LGW S. I thought I’d pre book and tried both No1 lounge & clubrooms, however both are saying they’ve reached their maximum capacity.

Does anyone know if that will be full capacity or will they accept walk ins too? Is it worth taking the risk, or booking another lounge?
    Thanks

When are you flying and what time of day?

Just curious re this being posted in the BAEC forum – do you hold BAEC status? If so you’d be sent to the BA lounge anyway if you hold Silver or Gold

I’d go to the Grain Store.

How far in advance are you trying to book? I know it’s not LGW but booked a lounge at MAN last year and the 1903 lounge never became available to do so, even 4 months in advance. It could be they are fully booked up.

Personally if you are determined to go in a lounge (BA have their own with club/first tickets if you have those) then pre-booking is the best way to guarantee getting in.
