Gatwick North to Antigua – lounge & tips pls

My wife and I with 2 young kids (8 & 4) are travelling from gatwick north to antigua (I have a gold card, my wife silver). what lounges can we use and are they any good? (flight departs 10am) Thanks in advance.

The lounge BA use is not terrible. It’s no worse than a BA club lounge and the ordered breakfast better. Atmosphere was a bit second rate but it’s 100% better than spending a couple of hours in the Gatwick zoo.

If you have Amex Plat or DragonPass then Plaza Premium (the old Virgin Atlantic lounge) is quieter although fewer food options.

Is the Clubrooms lounge closed?

BA show 3 lounges, their own in South Terminal closed, No.1 North open, Clubrooms North they show opening times, implying it’s open, but this thread suggests only No.1 available.

Gold card holder if that maks any difference.
