GHA Discovery Gold benefits at NH in Italy

I just checked in an NH Hotel in Italy as a GHA Discovery Gold. The hotel was booked by my workplace travel agency.
I know GHA doesn’t give much, what benefits should I realistically expect, if even any?

Gold gets you nothing, but your stay gets you half-way to Platinum.

Platinum gets you an upgrade, welcome gift, and a late check-out.

You can reach Platinum just by staying at one more GHA brand.

Having said that, while there are no official gold benefits of any use, if the hotel feels generous and isn’t busy they might do something for you. I’ve had good treatment (for the most part) at GHA properties.
