Gifting Avios price change?

My son wanted to gift me avios. I thought it was only £15 for him to give me some as I read an article that BA had changed their pricing.
However that was not the case. Have they changed their pricing again?

Someone asked this exact question yesterday – I think the response was that £15 gives you a certain amount you can gift.

Yes, gifting and transfers are two different things. Gifting is where you purchase them for another while transfer is where you pay to transfer up to 27k of your own avios to another for £15 unless price has very recently changed.
