Has anyone had any experience of being offered the chance to gift Diamond status this year after 70 nights? I’ve read the rules and it states that it does not include rollover nights, however, earlier this year I hit 40 nights when adding on my rollover nights (I’d only actually done around 10 nights at the time – I carried over roughly 30 nights) and I got an email with a code to gift Gold to a friend/family. Just wondering if the system does actually count the rollover nights towards the target as I only need a few more nights if so.
I gifted Gold last year and never received the said email. I had to email Hilton and chase after it few times to get it.
That’s annoying for Lifetimes. The tracker doesn’t record any rollover and you got it as a system error. A pity.
