Easyjet 8196 just suffered brake failure on second landing attempt at LGW after a touch and go around that was explained as ‘for safety reasons’. Not exactly encouraging as several fire engines approach the plane. How can we find out exactly what happened on the first landing attempt???
If you are flying to Hamburg tonight you may want to ask if they are changing planes
Can’t answer as to the exact cause but I wouldn’t be too concerned about the fire engines. They are usually called as a precaution even for very minor faults, it’s also good training for the fire crews.
