Gold Card promotional offer – Amex not honouring promotion

Signed up for Amex Gold Preferred during the previous promotion period (35k points for £3000 spend in 3 months). Confirmed 2 year cooling off period with Amex and credit records (Experian / TransUnion). Amex now saying they can only offer 22000 MR and asking for evidence where I have been offered 35K.

Any experience around this? As far as I know, there is no tracker / notification to see the points target / offer target.

Yes, this always comes up on here when applications haven’t been submitted via the correct promotional link.
